Okay, so I’m sure you guys haven’t heard of me before so here I am, introducing myself.

Basically, I’m new here. I volunteered myself to help out on this site. It’s simply because I’m super duper in love with Varsity Fanclub! HAHAHA. If you ask me, they’re just awesome. They’re talented and all. They’re hot too! Hahaha okay.

Back to topic. A lil’ about me.
My name is Farah. I’m 16. Just graduated from my secondary school and now, I’m currently a slacker. Yeap, that’s my occupation. Hahaha. And Poly/Higher Nitec only starts in April. So wow, good luck to me. Work? Still thinking.

An update about their situation right now…

The reason why things have been slow! Things you need to know!

We were created by a production company. This production company controls virtually everything we do based on our contracts with them. From the start of being signed to Capitol records, every decision was made by them whether good or bad.

You would think that when you sign a record deal everything in your dream comes true. Not in our case…… It is hard work….. Extremely hard work. When you sign, there is no money, no cars, no housing, or fame waiting for you. Only the dedication you have to your fans and your love of music. In fact, the only money we make is with merchandise, writing songs, or touring. What really sucks is when you work your tail off for three years, only to see all the money you have made be given to a certain company and then never given to us at all. Can you imagine being penny less when your working as hard as we are and you think your band is doing huge things, only to find that your being held back?!

Let’s set the record straight. Capitol never dropped us because we were “untalented”! They let us go because they couldn’t deal with “those who cannot be named.” Basically… it’s a lot like when a mom gives a little boy lunch money… but then a bully steals it… and then the little boy has nothing to eat for
lunch… so given this analogy….

Those who cannot be named= you figure out who we mean…
mom=Capitol Records
little boy=VARSITY FANCLUB
lunch money=Money VFC earned

So, of course, the mom is gonna be mad and confused if you are cranky cause you havent eaten… sorry… got a little off topic……….. No one said life was fair… but this is ridiculous. I mean that’s just bad when you lose your deal because the people who you thought had your back, really didn’t.

We apologize for all the things in the past that were said to have happened but never did. Like we said, it was all out of our control. Unfortunately the music business is filled with people who don’t have your best intentions at heart, but only their own. The worst part about this entire thing… is that right now, we can’t be the band we’re capable of being……. (but only for right now.)

We are trying to fix this problem as quickly as we can. Getting out of a contract takes A LOT of time, (we’ve been trying for almost 6 months.) Thats why you haven’t really seen us doing anything. Unfortunately we can’t do anything until were out of the contract. I guess its a lot like the Backstreet Boys or NSYNC and their case against Lou Pearlman. If you don’t know anything about that, look it up. They were getting ripped off!!! The only difference is that they left late in their careers instead of at the beginning. But on a positive note…. We’re close to being out!

As soon as we are, you can expect huge things!!! Trust us… HUGE THINGS!!!!! We’re trying to do the best we can while we’re in this situation. We are always here for all of you. We will never go anywhere. We glued our feet to the ground. We just need your support through this rough time. We have the heart to stay the course and make this happen. Do you?

PS. Were not talking about Thomas. Hes in the same boat with us. Thats why he left. He didnt want to deal with what were all, “including him”, going through.

Hey guys, SO we have a little contest we formed! We want you to make flyers and pass them out at your school, we know its a new school year and everyones sad the summer has ended, I know we are.. But hopefully this will make it a little more fun..So ya, we want you to make flyers and Youtube yourself and your friends passing out flyers to people at your school. Who ever does this for us, will be put in our top friends on myspace, no questions asked!!! So we just had an amazing photoshoot yesterday, I’m telling you, you’re gonna love it…We we’re so impressed by the shots!! We worked with Gerry Garcia, check him out, he’s insanely good.. This next week, we will be completely changing our Myspace, Twitter, Youtube, Justin.Tv, Facebook pages and updating them with all new photos and landscapes, we will let you know for sure when we are officially launching.. Can’t even begin to tell you how excited we are for you to see the new Varsity Fanclub OH and just so I dont forget we will be finding out where you can purchase your Vegas tickets for the August 22nd show ALSO we are in talk about 2 tours right now.. One on the northwest and the other on the east coast, so be readyyyyy..
